48 HOURS IN COMILLAS
Discover one of the most well-know place in Cantabria in a weekend.

Getting there
Comillas situated in Western Coast of Cantabria, 48 km from Santander.
By car, take the highway A67 direction to Oviedo and then take the diversion to Cabezon de la Sal and continue by the road CA-135. La Cantabrica buses (www.lacantabrica.net) takes you to Comillas in 55 minutes from the centre of Santander.

Check in
Accommodation in Comillas can be affordable, with comfortable inn such as the Rioturbio inn (942 720 411; www.posadarioturbio.com) and the Solana Montañesa inn(www.lasolanamontanesa.com). The Comillas Tourism office in the Comillas city hall (942 722 591) can help with other options.

Take a walk
Walk around and visit the town which has an old quarter with buildings of great architectonic importance such as the Sobrellano Palace, the Pontifical University and Gaudi´s Caprice.

Sunday morning : visit Ruiseñada
Before leaving the town of Comillas, visit San Adrian Church with gotic details can still be seen, near to the church find the Bracho mansion with right angles structure.
