- Getting there
Somo is localizated 24,6 km. from Santander. Takes you 26 minutes by car and 39 minutes by bus. It is facing the bay of Santander. (www.ribamontanalmar.es/pueblos/index.php?pueblo=SOMO)

- Check in
If you want stay at the village you could find some hotels, inns, flats and a campsite (web) according with your preferences. All of them are lovely and closer to the beach.
- Take a walk
There is a Bike lane, where you can go in a healthy ride of over 5 km.
- Luch on the run
Tapas the famous dish from Spain, if you want to try don't forget to visit "El Rincon de Zeto", where there are a great variety of Tapas, including mussels in sauce and homemade croquettes.
- Windows shopping
In the small shops around Somo the visitors can buy souvenirs, clothes, crafts, etc. The typical one is something of beach or sea. A shell necklace for example.
- Take a view
The promenade is a beautiful and peaceful option to spend in a walk. Relax and enjoy the sea breeze.
- Dinner with the locals
Most locals offer to the visitors many dishes of fish and seafood, an speciality in Somo. A good election is "Apolo VIII" , where you can try grilled sardines, or "Pinar".
- Sunday moring: go to the beach
