From Santander you take the Highway S-10. (Indications for N-635/Bilbao/A-67/Burgos/Torrelavega) and you take the exit that Suances indicates. They are 31 km and it will take you 35 minutes

Take a walk

In Suances, you can walk along the old town of the villa, can go for the beaches, can go for the zone of the fishermen,  see how you bring fresh fish. There isn´t urban transport.

You can have lunch in many of the numerous sites of food of the villa; you can choose for the typical food in suances for example the fish and shellfish, or choose other types of food like pizzas, hamburgers, kebabs or other things.

Window shopping

The shops in Suances are destined for the tourism, the shops are of presents or complements, but we don´t  find fashionable shops, where the client could become exhausted a lot of money. The tourists are going to Torrelavega or Santander to do big purchases in mode for example.

You can go to the beach of "Los Locos" that is the most famous of Suances to the dawn and is a amazing to be able to see this landscape when the sun is going away, it is very nice picture. I recommended you.

Every Wednesday of summer, a lot of people of Cantabria goes out for Suances, because there are many parties in the discos and is a tradition. There is very good environment, many people, good music. There is urban transport, although the first one is at 7 a.m. direction Santander. It´s normal to be going to work the following day directly from Suances after having been the night of party.
