WEEK- END IN SANTILLANA!!

Santillana del Mar is one of the most historic towns and artistic of Spain and the main focus of tourism in Cantabria, making it one of the most visited places and attractions in the region. GETTING THERE You can go to Santillana by car from Santander by the highway A-67, Up to the exit to take the CA-330 Polanco/Suances/Santillana If you haven't got a car you can take the bus from line Continental CHECK IN You can search in Santillana a lot of accomodation, over rural houses or hotels such us Altamira's Hotel or Rural Houses Santillana del Mar. LUNCH ON THE RUN The besth place where you can eat is the Santillana's Parador where we recommend you try cocido montañes (mountain stew): cabbage, beans, ribs, sausage, panceta, chorizo, black pudding all go into it. Enjoy too the grilled beef steak with Tresviso sauce, the hake in Cantabrian sauce, clams from Pedreña, the anchovy salad, the Cantabrian ventrisca (tuna) and quesada pasiega (cheesecake).
